Dear all

Please share your response

Today i got refusal letter from LVO based on insufficient points after getting second line in ECAS on 7th June 2012 by mentioning non submission of my spouse master degree although i have sent my spouse orginal transcipt of MBA with initial set of application .  they also not given point of my spouse aunt due to insufficient documents where as i have submitted Citizen ship card of my spouse aunt, bio data form of my spouse aunt declaring my spouse mother as sister in 1997 in her PR card application along with affidavits.

Please guide what should i do , should i send reconsideration request with my spouse master degree copy ? will they reconsider ?

I will qualify and get 70 marks i f they will except my spouse qualification

regards

Dear Omee,
Did they email you with this decision? I feel very bad buddy......... Do you live in Pakistan?

This is very sad news. My second line is also same as yours. But one questions... they mentioned insufficient points,,,,,,,,,,,but what was their score and what was your calculation............. 70-67=3 (how would you claim for 3 points) why didn't you provide the documents top prove that earlier?

Please share whole thing..It would be very helpful.

They have given me 66 points . on the basis of my spouse masters qualification (16 years) i will get 4 points . so my total points would be 70 , i even send them my spuse bachelors mark sheet .

They said that they are not able to determine my husband master qualification through trancript where as its been clearly mentioned all the perquisite plus MBA qualification in transcript.

Now i am planning to send send them a leeter with my spouse MBA degree

How much do GCMS cost?
I order from CAIPS.com and it costs $40 for first time and repeat purchase at $35.

This is just me thinking out loud but is it possible in Omee's case that when the VO looked at the case they have been unable to verify some part of the documentation that Omee provided and therefore revised down the points awarded at the CIO?

Omee,

Have you handled this yourself or with an Immigration Agent?

Personally having got so far, I would do an appeal to ascertain as to whether her qualifications were taken in to consideration, and if not why not? Having got to that stage the first checks they completed are usually where the points scoring is checked, maybe something got lost in the file transfer.

Good luck,

Stuart

I have handled this case personally . and have sent my husband detailed trasncript with application along with other professional qualification of CPA and CMA. but not send the degree copy

THEY SAID THEY ARE NOT ABLE TO DETERMINE MASTER DEGREE THROUGH TRANSCRIPT .

Really its situation to raise eyebrows.... very strange, they should object this in CIO stage.

Send certified copy of Certficate as soon as possible. Dont forget to include a covering letter requesting reconsideration of your application. remember you don't need to send original certificate, Hope it works

Yes this is strange as they don't want original transcripts they want the transcripts to be in a sealed envelope from your university and signed by the uni's registrar. I found this part highly frustrating as I was quite pleased with myself having kept my original transcripts only to find out they were as useful as an immigration consultant
