First of all, i would like to congratulate you for this forum.
The day one, when i joined this forum, there were only four or five members, with two pages.
Now, you have more than 130 pages of members feedbacks, so congratulation for that.
Dear,
I received a new news today about Applicants before 2008 and MI1.
They won the case against the Immigration office. As you are aware, Immigration refused the applicantions received before 2008, so, those applicants issued legal cases against The Immigration Office represented by the Minister. Today, they won the case, the court judge instruct the Immigation Office to check those files within 120 Days from now.
Therefore, i hope and wish that this matter will not effect our process and will not force the Visa Offices to look into those files and keep our a side.

Hi all,
I think CIC must have anticipated that a lawsuit might be coming their way. Still, I don't think this will change anything. If they could have, they would have already processed all those pre-2008 cases.
Situation has changed substantially, no way they are going to accommodate 400,000 something applicants, who are not in demand in Canada.
The most they are going to do is accept a few hundred whose occupations are still in demand. And I think our processing times wont be affected by that.
After all, we are the ones who they actually need - All of us are in high demand in Canada, thats why this immigration thing is there for.
Your say on this seniors ?

So here begins the second week since I got the second update on the ecas. Tension levels getting to a point that if I don't receive my MR soon I will probably fail it due to high blood pressure from being forced into being patient. Do you think there is a case for a breach of human rights making someone, who has no patience be patient?
I wish everyone luck in something happening this week and that you are not going as insane as me.
