Canada don't play American football, they play Canadian football which the only difference I have been told is that there are only 3 downs rather than 4.

Post came and went today but still no MR. Did however get a nice phone call from the boss to be who was shouting at me because his lawyer has told him that FSW2 applications are only taking 4-6 weeks to process. If/When I land I am certainly going to make sure this lawyer has nothing further to do with the business giving out information like that.
Yes they do but I ment they should sneak a  football team in to American league like ice hockey, basketball, baseball any way who won stanley Cup this year? Hope philadelphia flyers win it one of these years lol. Good luck with ya MR

Los Angeles Kings won the Stanley Cup this year. All American final so I didn't watch it. Flyers won't win it next year as my gf advises me it is the Leafs turn to shine.

The more I read about the next stage in getting the MR the more I am wondering how long it will take. Qurax has stated in his thread that BGs are commencing once you get the second ecas update. He/She reckons that your app moves from a waiting queue to a processing queue and it can take 3-5 months for some unlucky people at this stage. This seems to make sense (hopefully not the time line) but as per Mr Engineer's post the MI3 apps have their final eligibility determination done by the CIO so the VO's can only reject your app with procedural fairness so at this stage we can feel pretty safe.

Supposed to be working right now but I can't stop looking at this silly forum looking that little bit of info that is gonna somehow gonna bring this wait to an end.

CANVINCHENG

I think they are trying to fob you off with a standard letter as they don't think very much of you. I think you should storm up to their offices in London and lay siege on them until they give you a response that you are entitled to.

I am a bit messed up with second part of the above discussion and also qorax comments in the other thread.
I noticed in the cic (ecas page) site . They tried to give us a flow chart of entire process. From the flow chart I understand that VO start processing when we are determined to be processed. It means we might be cleared for MR those who got second line in ecas. Wish I am right.

I also would like to thank everyone who congratulate me for having second line in ecas especially Mr president, mr engineer, Sister Now , ........very best of luck to all of us.

Don't listen to baseless speculations and assumptions. I think experience is more reliable than personal opinion. Keep in contact with the local post office. Smiley

From Qurax's response to your query in the other thread he is pretty much saying that the BGCs are not complete and they are doing them now. I have no idea where he gets this info from and even he admits that later on when someone else asks how he knows this.

On page 85 on this thread Mr Engineer reposts Jaggy999 about the MI(Implementation) from the CIC website. This seems to say that the CIO have already made the final determination as to whether our documents are acceptable and we qualify for PR. Once the VO start to process our aplication they are simply verifying the documents we have sent. If they find something amiss they can't just reject our application anymore they need to give us a chance to explain.

So when the guys/gals on this thread are saying that the MR is on the way they are correct as once the VO has verified that your documents are valid the MR will be sent. This why I think some people get the MR so quickly and some take longer as there is something the VO's need to investigate in your application.

If I wrong on the above please let me know but this is my conclusion to what is happening once you get the second ecas update.

Mr President,

From what I have read the MI1 applications the VO's had the right to refuse an app but now with the MI3 they don't have this right as the CIO have taken this responsibilty from the VO's. This would explain why in most cases the MRs are being received so quickly as there isn't very much that the VO's can do besides validate your documents or ask you for more info about a particular item.

Leafs are rubbish, I have to support them or my gf and boss will disown me. Cannucks are the team to support, if you lose you get to go on a riot, what more could you ask for?
