Hey,
I got a letter from the alberta government that my daughter is eligible for full health care coverage including prescriptions and stuff...
I sponsored my husband to come here so I am worried that If I take advantage of this, then I will be in default and then I have to pay it back... please let me know!

Fairouz I would call CIC and ask them. I somehow doubt it as it is part of the medical program not social services... it's like receiving child benefits. You don't pay that back :)

What Boncuk said plus, you sponsored your husband, not your daughter, right? So even if it is considered social assistance, it's not your husband who is receiving it.
