Hey,

I got a letter from the alberta government that my daughter is eligible for full health care coverage including prescriptions and stuff...

I sponsored my husband to come here so I am worried that If I take advantage of this, then I will be in default and then I have to pay it back... please let me know!

Fairouz I would call CIC and ask them.  I somehow doubt it as it is part of the medical program not social services... it's like receiving child benefits. You don't pay that back Smiley

What Boncuk said plus, you sponsored your husband, not your daughter, right?  So even if it is considered social assistance, it's not your husband who is receiving it.
