Has anyone heard of this?  What recourse do I have?  We mailed our sponsorship application the first week in September.  We called the call center twice and they said it landed (by registered mail) but they have no other information.  They cannot locate the package.  They are just a call center.  Who else can I contact?!  They suggest just waiting 30 days.  Meanwhile, after three years, our lives are still on hold and all the time sensitive materials are expiring.  I feel helpless and I just want to be with my husband.

Please help.

Contact CIC at 1-888-242-2100 and listen carefully to your choices.

I do thank you for your response.  My husband (the Canadian sponsor), has already contacted them twice.  They said, just wait and see if it turns up and offered no other assistance.  They (CIC) said they are just a call center, not the ones who receive the package, and they can't help.

Still waiting.  Still lost.  And very very frustrated.

First of all, you need to check with your registered mail service and see when it was delivered. Then call CPC-M again (hopefully you will get someone who knows their job) and explain them your situation.
As a last resource, you could always contact your MP to push CPC-M to find your missing file in their big pile. Remember your package was delivered at right address, it can not go missing from there...

Are you a PR and sponsoring your spouse? Then use your client ID number and check ecas. May be you can see some status.
