I got a work permit and VISA last year (both are valid till 2010) and worked in Canada for a few months then I moved to the US working under H1-B for almost a year and now I just lost my job. Can I still use my Worker VISA to enter Canada and look for a new job?

Any advice would be much appreciated!

The moment you left your employer your work permit will no longer be valid. But you can stay in Canada for the original duration of the work permit.

If you are returning to Canada with valid temporary resident visa (TRV) then your admission would depend on the assessment of the officer at the port of entry.
