HAHAH Caroline,
We must have been talking to CIC at the same time. I couldn't get through the last 2 days. Our file will be processed by Ottawa as well, and concerning our documents sitting at LA, I guess they will forward them to Ottawa. I was told not to worry and that our file is in process. Hopefully they match up our stuff. It would have been nice to know earlier that they're processing these in Ottawa, it would have been much easier for me to mail our documents across town instead of all the way to LA for them to be sitting there.
It's weird that some people who are getting emails back about their case specific inquiries are being told their file is "in transit".
Both of our apps have been sitting in Ottawa for a month now...hopefully we hear something soon!
Ya she was super nice... well I kind of like it better that way it means that our files are really not in transit just sitting in a queue hopefully they will get opened soon...I'm just wondering the closing of buffalo was may 29th you got approved on that day and I got approved on the 30th. So do you think we got pushed to the side until they received the files from Buffalo (the older ones) But then again if they can see that our files are in Ottawa and that they are being processed there would that mean that we are in process? I just want to hear something in the next fews weeks crossing my toes my fingers and everything...I'll e-mail you soon! Kinda crazy at work!  Carolyne |

I just read your post and decided to check my hubby's number as I never check his. Our address is now on there as well. The two previous people I spoke with said our file was in process. I'm thinking maybe we were at the head of the line considering our approval came from Ottawa right around the time that Buffalo closed? You've been bang on with predicting our timelines so far...it would awesome if your predictions were bang on for 2nd stage!!

Mine has my mailing address as my US addy. I believe what you want to see there is "Home address" and it showing a canadian address. I have read other posts stating something along the lines that once that was showing on ecas it was some sort of acknowledgement that PPR was coming as they were recognizing "home" as Canada. Don't quote me word for word, but I do recall reading some posts stating that. Question about the addresses. Mailing address or physical address? I called a week or so after we first found out here that Buffalo was closed and was told the same thing that all files are in transit to Buffalo. I'm sure some are being worked on, others back in queue, etc, but with the delay this closure costs there is not much information being shared. However, I do feel they are working on our files.
