Jobless rate is 7.8% and its steady for the last 2-3 months.
very few or no stories of Job creation in IT.
This has resulted in probably a temporary closure/delaying of issuance of PR visa for 0213's.

I dont know how they have arrived to this kind of stats or report, i see large number of IT guys either unemployed or working for lower grade jobs.Nobody should read this report and think that he is going to get job in IT easily, one would have to work hard to get a beakthrough. These sort of reports look good on office table and in news papers only.   

Like you, I know quite a few IT guys with no work - in Ottawa !

Hello All,

Thanks for ur replies to my post. Few of you mentioned that ur fellows didnt get job in IT. Well u must beleive IT jobs are for really talented guys. If you have something extraordinary u wud get similar opportunity.
