Dear all,

I am new to the forum.I have been looking in to the forum since fewdays as we are planning to apply for Canada PR under Skilled worker catagory and always had many queries in my mind.

My OH is in Lifesciences (Health care-Clinical Research, has around 5 yrs of experience) as Manager and I am in IT as a manager( I am  not working since 4 months, But I have around 6 yrs exp in the IT field). can we apply under FSW?
If so, do we need any skill assessment to be done from any authority?
And whats the funds we need to show for PR application? Is there any minimum number days we need to keep this money int the Bank a/c( We are a family of 3, I guess we need to show around 16000 Canadian Dollars)... OMG so many questions... I guess I should ask one by one...:)

NB:currently we are in London.

Can you help me to  understand how do preparations for my application.

Tx

1.  (Eligibility) Yes
2.  No Skill Assesment ( Dont need to get certification from any authority)
3.  Funds depends on the size of your family.
4. 3-6 months

Thanks Hot,

Thats a good news, that we don need to do any skill assessment , I think, we need to send our reference letters for them to analyse our work.
One more point, I am not working currently Can I apply as primary applicant( My OH is woring in an MNC here in UK)
Do we come under NOC? i mean does either mine or my OH's career comes under NOC?

We are 3 of us , we need to show 16000 candian dollars, should this amount be shown in the bank a/c of the primary applicant Or joint account.. Is there any minimum number of days we need to keep this amount in bank...and do we have to show this amount during the initial application Or does CIC send afroms to show the funds later during the course of application( Like medicals etc)..

BUddy As hot lier told u that u r eligible for that u have to go through this link and enter NOC code 0213 and see ur main duties if  its same as u performed then u can go head...1 u have to send an initial Application to NS,Sydney..then if u get Approval from them then u will have 120 to submit ur all documents to local Embassy(where u r residing for 1 and more year)....after that u will receive MEdicAL request and along with U have to submit PCC after that they ask for passport that it..

here is the link for NOC check:http://www5.hrsdc.gc.ca/NOC/English/NOC/2006/Welcome.aspx
