Hi,

I've added your info to the tracker. Address disappearing sometimes can be an indication of some updates on your file. Based on your timeline however, your PR shouldn't be long.

Hi Shalom, thanks for sharing....

We went to the DMP again yesterday to ask for possible copies of my medical result, unfortunately the clinic doesn't keep any. I even asked for any certification or any proof from the clinic that I did the medical with them, but he refused. He told us that he won't communicate in anyone but the Canadian Embassy-Manila alone, no middlemen involved! The embassy should provide "Formal Request Letter" directly addressed to him, asking for the verification of the concerned "missing document"... the communication should be between them.

So I emailed our agent and our embassy about this, hoping for their immediate action to resolve things.

You told that the LVO did find your "missing document"...how long did it take?

We are running against time now because our agent told us the visa already consuming its validity from the time our medical requests have been approved....that will be more than 3 months now...oh my...can't even sleep well for days!

That's quite inflexible on the part of your DMP. I also don't believe his story about not having records of your results. That is bull! He's professionally and legally oblige to keep copies of such records. Not like you are requesting him/her to hand you the report. You have done the right thing notifying the VOs about it. You may have to request them to send you an authorization letter to bring to the DMP. I believe your case will be resolved soon.

All the best.

Wow, thanks for the kind words!

We really felt bad with our DMP...I hate to think that maybe, just maybe, he didn't really send the complete results so he won't entertain us...silly me for thinking such thing Embarrassed

But when we told that if necessary, I'm willing to re-take my medical, his eyes went bling bling, 'coz that would be another payment on our part..that would be our last option though...

But for now, I want to believe that he really did his part and that the document went missing in London...or we say misplaced....
because if the DMP sent 4 medicals of my family and they received 3...maybe they got it all and just left mine misplaced somewhere on their tables  Grin

I don't want to stress myself anymore...it wont be good just in case I re-take medical...

thank you guys!

The choice to repeat the medical is absolutely yours.Just bear in mind that this likely to  increase your processing time siginificantly.
Your DMP story really do not add up at all.All in he/she needs to do is to contact the laboratory where you did your blood tests and request for copy reports and same apply to the X-ray film and reports. In my specific CASE, WHEN  LVO MISPLACED/LOST MY X-RAY FILM /REPORT , I CONTACTED MY DMP AND THE DMP CONTACTED THE X- RAY DEPARTMENT AND REQUESTED A COPY OF THE FILM AND REPORT.THE DMP SEC THEN SEND X-RAY FILM AND REPORT ELECTRONICALLY TO LVO MEDICAL UNIT.
I know that you do not like or do stress but immigration process can be very challenging and STRESSFUL at the best of the times.
WISHING YOU THE VERY BEST. Wink Wink Wink Wink

People here are really so incompetent!

Can't wait to move somewhere with smart people and fair treatment for all...

If only our DMP did the same thing as your DMP...then maybe now everything will run smoothly. His answer will cause us further delay, but I hope our VO will do significant thing about our case. I hope the VO would request him to cooperate Cry

We'll just wait for some advise from our agent and VO in Manila what to do next..if it is really time for a re-take of medical...I will do wholeheartedly.

Thanks a bunch!

Apologies if my comments has cause any offence. I am no expert at all nor competent enough to make decision on your case or any other case. I suppose your VO may works better than LVO. I only made my comments based on my experince with LVO.
So no need to shift base! All the best with the rest of the process. Smiley

no harm done, no need for apologies...my family are living here in the middle east, and we did everything for our application here also...Imagine the language barrier, some facts that people here don't recognize, some situation that they cannot comprehend, some info that they do not know at all...you know what I mean?...sorry for this...but it is also based on our experience...some are really incompetent here  Cry
Our VO is in our home country-Philippines.

You may not be that expert but your info help a lot not just to my case but to everybody that need some cheering-me-up thing
