thanks 9j, i think i'll give it a week or two, but make an enquiry to CHC before doing CAIPS. But I have applied through an agent and the CIC has the agent's details as my contact. In this case, do you think they will entertain the enquiry directly from me? If I can have your thoughts please, tx

Our visa office in Manila has sent email that medical results of my family are already received but mine is missing. They asked of the clinic and doctor's name, and so we did send them the reply right away. We even went back to the doctor to verify if he really sent complete results. And he said he has done his part and maybe it was lost in London.
If this is sometimes happening, how long does it normally take to be resolved?
Sorry for the sad feelings but i really cant help it....thanks guys!
It depends on your VO.In my case , it added another 3-4 weeks to PPR. The timeline in this circumstance is not set in stone. It really depend on the Medical officer and IMO in charge of your file. Do not despair all will be ok in no time .The most important thing for you at the moment is to get your DMP to resend your medical reports.I have LVO medical section e-mail address but WILL NOT share in a public forum. Your DMP SHOULD HAVE IT AS WELL.GET YOUR DMP TO BE PROACTIVE ABOUT THIS ASAP. Louth.

Hi sodapop, Don't weary yourself. Relax. Louth and 9jcanada are in the right direction with their advice. London is notorious with losing documents. I hand delivered my baby's application to their office and after one month they admitted that it was lost in their office. I had to send another one to them. After some time, they found it and returned the 1st bank draft to me. After medical, they lost my wife's X-ray claiming that the DMP did not send it to them and that infuriated the DMP. The DMP had to prepare another X-ray but before it was sent, they emailed me that it has been seen. However, they compensated us with speedy processing of medical and passport request. So, contact your DMP and arrange for the missing medical to be sent again using courier or registered mail. Best wishes to you and your family Shalom

Hi Shalom, thanks for sharing.... We went to the DMP again yesterday to ask for possible copies of my medical result, unfortunately the clinic doesn't keep any. I even asked for any certification or any proof from the clinic that I did the medical with them, but he refused. He told us that he won't communicate in anyone but the Canadian Embassy-Manila alone, no middlemen involved! The embassy should provide "Formal Request Letter" directly addressed to him, asking for the verification of the concerned "missing document"... the communication should be between them. So I emailed our agent and our embassy about this, hoping for their immediate action to resolve things. You told that the LVO did find your "missing document"...how long did it take? We are running against time now because our agent told us the visa already consuming its validity from the time our medical requests have been approved....that will be more than 3 months now...oh my...can't even sleep well for days!

Yes, "Medical Received" line was added into my eCas on 17th Feb 2012. Although, my address disappeared yesterday and then reappeared today on eCas.
