Many heartiest Congratulations to both Huzefa & Explorer for receiving your passports with visa - finally all the endless waiting seems to be worth it!  All the best for your new life in Canada. Which part of Canada are you anticipating on moving to?? Reason being, I am planning to move to Vancouver and it seems that majority are settling around the Toronto area. All this seems like a big step into the unknown for me  |

Great news explorer and many good wishes from me. No as I dont live in London would have been a hassel if I came on thursday and the PP were not ready plus my ecas still does not have a DM so am bit skeptical if my PP are stamped. Today we went to the Canadian High Commission to submit our PP's in person. The queues was not long about 10-15 people in all. It was hassle free and didnt take much time. We were just asked to provide them with the PP's, photos and updated info letter. The lady behind the desk then gave us a acknowledgement receipt and asked us to come collect our PPs in two weeks time.

Don't worry about ecas from here on, they can sometimes be late with the update, You can go to CHC with confidence and collect your passport on Thursday. 9j |

Congratulations to Explorer976 and Huzefa, best wishes for 9j. All of you are seniors so I will appreciate if you could help me for the following.
I have received MR alongwith request to submit the revised application, family back ground, PCC, and Landing fee. Most of the original documents are sent back while a no. of other remaining. Now, I have following queries for your valuable comments;
1. Should I take this opportunity to ask them to send back other documents or they will send afterwards as per procedure.
2. I applied in Jan 2010 and since then I have been promoted but new position is not in positive list so should I update them about new position and increased salary or not.
3. The name of the bank which issued me the Account maintenance certificate for POF has changed and location, phone nos of issuing br. Also changed but not change in account particulars. Is update required. (they have not demanded)
4. The annexure to the revised application and other forms are required or just the forms are to be submitted.
5. My IELTS is expiring in April, 2012, will it be a problem for further processing.
I'll appreciate a detailed reply .
