You can either write a letter , send e-mail or CSE. LVO cannot be contacted through telephone.

Congrtaz on landing in Canada, so you only had bank statements as proof of landing funds you didnt have cash or draft etc..? |

Nope...... Irish bank statements. Like I said the IMO at PO did not ask us to SHOW the statements. In addition I also have secured a permanent job offer before landing and I have the letter of offer to hand if required BUT THE IMO did not ask for this either. In my assesment, everything here depend on the individual you are dealing with. Hope this help, Louth |

In the cover letter that came with our COPR, the letter clearly stated under POF that"...... you should therefore bring supporting DOCUMENTATION with you, current banks statements,updated bank book,securities or negotiable instruments in bearer form, etc". So it is NOT a required right or obligation to bring CASH OR DRAFT with you. Again the IMO guy did not ask for this at all  Louth |

Update:As advised by LOUTH, I sent a CSE to LVO about 2 hours ago and jut a few minutes ago, I got this reply from my visa officer: Thank you for your email.
Your passports have been returned to you today.
Yours sincerely,
....................
So, it appears that the CSE did work in this case  Thanks Louth. Now to keep an eye out for the postman 9j

As a LVO applicant, you will automatically get a GCSM note as LVO had fully moved over to GCSM. I am sure there are only a few VOs left on the old CAIPS at this stage. Regarding POF, do you think it will be ok to show a bank statement which is not from a western country at POE?
I am no expert but if you are happy and confident about it why not! who knows ,the IMO may not ask for evidence of POF.Please note that this is only an assumption and based on my personal experinence. Louth |
