I am also in the same boat. I also got the same reply - we are controlling the intake blah blah blah.

But one thing which I (and many of us) have observed - off late for past few weeks none of the VOs are moving. Its not only London which is lagging behind. Other faster VOs have also become slow - might be because of the elections?? But one thing is for sure - the wait will continue for quite a some time from now on.

Hold your nerve guys - there light at the end of the tunnel (i know i am being too optimistic)

guys, you would be surprised to know that the visa offices in ukrain and in russia do the same if not worse.
people had their medical examinations done in summer and autumn last year, but only a couple of visas issued since then. most applicants are just waiting in frustration next to panic. any requests return the go-around replies like background checking, that's it. so your position is not the worst one to compare with ;-)

they dont need 0213's also anymore for the time being. enough of lame 0213's and 4131's sneaked into Canada. This is what they are implying. Thanks god that CHC London is replying to the queries with utmost good manner whereas CHC Singapore is not replying at all or rarely does it.

there are more educated and fraud educated people now in this world and they both have applied to Canada. These culprits are making the process bad.
