Hi:
Some days ago, I sent London Office an e-mail to ask about the time of processing for my application...and this is my e-mail:
Dear Sir\Madam:

This is to ask  about my current status. I have submitted my complete documents on 24th May 2010. and got  the 2nd acknowledgment of receipt on 23th July 2010.

In your letter on (23th July 2010), you asked me to send you an inquiry to update my case if you do nothing to my application after 8 months.

Kindly, inform me what is the next step for my application and when?

Thank you a lot in advance.

Today morning , they replied...this is their reply:
CIC is working closely to manage arrivals in Canada, so that we meet, but do not exceed the immigration plan set by Parliament last fall for 2011.  Since we have larger inventories of applications than limits within the immigration plan for admissions to Canada, we must process applications according to the priorities set by Parliament.  As we have a sufficient number of applications in our high priority categories, we are not in a position to process your application at this time, nor can we predict when processing on your application will resume.

Yours sincerely,

Now, the problem that I am really bored after 8 months of waiting.......I feel that I am waiting for nothing........London office is so slow...and unfair.....I saw many cases in London office.....got their 2ND AOR on the same time like me......and they got the "in process on FEB 2011..... for me is nothing til now....\\
Please, tell me what should I do?Huh What should I expect???When should I expect the step of "In process"Huh

Thank you
Louay

You are not alone here suffering. I myself waiting for the last 8 months after 2nd AOR. The problem is that cic had announced new rules on 26, June 2010 [29 NOC categories]. Currently are dealing with post june applicants on priority and hold the pre-june applicants [don't know for how long]. Their excuse is that parliament set priorit NOc's first. Another problem that they are again going to announce new rules this june/july 2011. Now they are pushing back & back pre-june cases. This is totally unfair but we can't do anything but wait with patience in this scenario.

All the Best.

Hi

THe problem is your NOC 4131 and they dont need 4131 anymore thats why they are not giving priority to those NOCs which are no more in the list. From this email its clear that they are not going to give you a visa in 2011 atleast.

Dear Louay,

I'm 2007 applicant and got the same reply from CHC. BTW, they told me by email that they will send me the medical in first half of 2011, and then after 2 months they send another email to say they will send the medical in second half of 2011, and im not sure if they will send another email to say first half of 2012 or i don't know when. so my advice is just don't think too much about it and just keep waiting it should come true one day.

My Hypothesis is its only occupations which are regulated...all non regulated professions in 38 list will still be processed sooner than others since these people can immediately join their professions without getting licenses or meeting other regulation requirements...

Not only 4131 all the old 38 occupation .

only new 29 occupation list is on periority.

to be honest, i entirely believe that the changing in the immigration system, used in canada, from time to time is the only reason of the delay in their process. for example, pre-February 2008, Post-February 2008, SAP system, Fast track system, pre-June 2010...etc. they are not depending on one standard system.

Dear Laouy and every one
I got the same exact reply few days back..It's not worth it raising your blood pressure over it.
Yes I am one of the many cases they changed to in process with RBVO details as everyone. Don't worry this only mean that you have met the minimum requirement which we already know from the C50 CAIPS or the AOR letter which was sent to us.
I think they will send the medical some time in 2012 and complete process in 2013.
They are working on cases which was submitted in 2009 and cases which on final stages as of 2010.
So 2012 will start working on our cases and finalize in 2013 this is just my observation and nothing else.
I hope it's much ealear than that and I am is wrong.

Yes Ali Green i agree with you. Most of those who applied in 2009 are been processed now and some 2010 like you have said. I have also taken note of that.  I am also 2009 and my BF'D was 22.1.12011, hoping they will also finalize my case this year.

Lets wait and see.
