London visa office - medicals completed in July/August 2012 - let's connect

Even some DMPs in UK require 10 working days to generate medical results before sending them off. I had to travel 300 miles to another city to sit medicals there, when my local DMP advised that she would need 10 working days.  

I guess IOM people are very nice and cooperative but I feel that they are slow in sending the results to LVO..

Hi Abidsunny,
I noticed that it takes relatively fast when the DMP is based at a hospital because all tests are done in one sitting. This is why I went to another city. I spent 2 hours at the hospital and did all tests at once. However, some DMPs, like in my city, have a private practice where they do not have facilities necessary for all tests. Then they send candidates to hospital for some tests (x-ray) which delays the process as the DMP needs to wait for the results to arrive from hospital before sending everything to London.

That's because I had to re-do them. I had them done in october 2011 so only a couple of months left on mine. LVO asked for updated ones. The ones from Peru I just had them done when they asked for with the MR since I needed 3 different ones and had to come all the way from there....With any luck your PCC will still be ok when they do your criminality....
