Thanks Dear, My Country is Pakistan, and BG Check for Pakistan is most critical now a days. As you know all world is trying to prove that Pakistan is a terrorist country which is not true off-course.

it depends on category, PNP is getting fast speed now a days, Skilled worker category depending on NOC occupation number. if you are in much needing occupation number under skilled worker. you will get fast procedure, it is my observing

Yes Dear it is annoying to experience prejudices   but many Pakistanis got through BG checks successfully and you will join them soon

wanna share something interesting. my file got rejected due to miscalculation. I appealed n they ve reopened my file, asked for pcc, photographs, POF, n updated forms. I ve sent everything n within 5 weeks they ve sent my MR n RPRF. I ve sent my medical n RPRF 4weeks back. Interestingly my ecas status is still showing that visa officer has taken a decision n let u know soon. the same status it used to show when i ve got the rejection letter. after reopening my case, they have just changed the ecas status from decision made to in process but the content inside is still same.

I am still confused. What could be the reason not changing the content inside?

Don't be worried about it, E-Cas status normally takes 1-2 Months to update after MR.

Hi unmarried,

They keep a record of all actions on your file on your ecas page. If your status changed from decision made to in process, you will still see the line "a decision has been made on your application" left from the past. Then they will add new lines below it as your file progresses

Don't worry about 3rd line too much. Some applicants who did meds in June already received PPR and their ECAS is still not updated to "Meds received".

Just to let you know, today my medicals were delivered to LVO! Now the wait starts again... I hope to hear some more good news soon!

Note to Ketevan's case: On 30/07/12 passport request was issued by regular mail. On 08/08/12 an e-mail was received advising to ignore this PPR and wait for a new one, because additional background checks are needed that will take AT LEAST 1 month
