Hi

I am currently sponsoring my husband to come over from the UK to Canada. We are applying through the UK embassy and our file is currently sitting with them.
We received a call from 0207 258 6300 on June 15, however we missed the call. We have tried calling the number back (which is the Canadian high commission) but they say they cant track who it came from within the embassy. So far no one has called us again or e-mailed.
Did anyone else receive a call from this number? or have any ideas why they may call? Our medical is done; criminal checks are all done; and its been with the London office for two months.

I hope they call you back, and I'm sure they will call you bak, I suggest you wait few days and see if they call you back, also keep in mind the weekend is close so expect some sort of movements on Monday...

If you don't hear by next week, then I suggest you send a CSE seeking an answer for the call, this is my suggestion to you.

i've heard a lot of people have had communications from London via email, so check the spam accounts if you provided an email address!

Thanks for the suggestions!
We sent a CSE yesterday outlining what happened. Apparently it could take 28 days to get a response through this Sad
we're just hoping theyll call back or atleast email!

CSE does take longer to get a reply to, but some offices are faster.. maybe less than 2 weeks I hope

Be aware that sometimes there is no reply to a CSE.

Is it worth sending another one after a few days? It did say 28 days but we got no confirmation to say we'd sent an enquiry. Not sure if it does that though..

That would be over-whelming, I wouldn't suggest a another cse until atlest 3 weeks have passed, and for CSE we do not get any confirmation, see if you can send an email enquiry, check the visa specific office website, usually email address is listed there, and for that there is a auto-confirmation.
