Hi,

Wonder if someone can put my mind at ease,
I have applied for TWP with Arranged emplyment.
I completed my meds begining of last month and awaited a document from Employers that was requested.
It was lost in the post and they have since sent another recorded delivery direct to London.
I also wrote and included a SAE (recorded) for return information...
My letter was with regards to the lost letter and 30 day deadline that was reached last week.

I am worred that they closed my case, would they notify me if tis was the case?
any one have any idea of time line - I am now way beyond that noted onthe CIC website.

Patience is the key I know but this is doing my head in.

So no one has any idea of time line for temporary work permit through London Office?

Also if they would notify me if the case was closed?

I keep saying it will arrive tomorrow, but tomorrow never seems to come.
Need my TWP to continue with my PR application.

Just incase anyone else is wondering, I did some more searching for myself.
Took some finding, but found the info I needed...

'If your application is refused, the visa office will send you a letter explaining why your application has been refused.'
as Quoted from UK immigration Website - Temporary Work - After Applying.

They also note that the visa takes 6 weeks
add 3-4 weeks for Medical
and poss more for various other complications....

Seems to me that mine had complections and I expect to receive any day now...
(6 weeks from Medical!)
Patience is Killing me.

Feel like I may be talking to myself
But I can end this thread by saying
I got my TWP and fly to Canada in two weeks

I received e-mail from London on 19th March
and they put my special delivery envelope in the post
received the next day!
So they do not respond to written request for update.

It took us just under 3 weeks to get an e-mail from them saying our TMP was approved.  Off to Canada in a month.  Not sure if it helped that I was an intercompany transfer and my husband was also going to work with the same company.  Good luck everyone!

Hello together!
I'd like to make a request to Canadian High Commission in London, does anyone know how to approach the Canadian Medical Officer at Overseas Health Program International Service Group Citizenship and Immigration Canada?
I mean are there any communication points to contact Mr Medical Officer except postal address?

will appreciate your comments

Many thanks!
