I'm a physio and sent my application in April 2010 via an immigation consultant. I was told it would be about 6-8 weeks for it to be processed and sent to the UK...........6 months later I get a reply saying it's been sent to the High Commission but could now be waiting abouth 8-10 months.
Has anyone else found this???

 Hello everybody,
I have sent my form  December 2010. I used self-employed application form and done it alone. I know that I have to wait 24 weeks for some answer and now I'm on my 12th week  but.... does somebody knows is it there some place where I can find information about my case or any kind of information about the limit of the cases per year which they are accept and where on the Q am I  .
First I had sent my documents October 2010 but my bank draft was lost and I received my papers back in 2 weeks later. Now I'm waiting 3 months and there is nothing yet....

On March 7th, I sent my passport to the High Commission in London to have the PR issued, and they received it on the 10th.  Since then, there's been no indication when it might arrive.  I am scheduled to travel to London (from Frankfurt where I live) on 15th April, and also need my passport as ID before then, and the not knowing when it will come back is nerve-shredding.  How do they expect you to avoid international travel for some unspecified length of time, when all they have to do is glue some paper into a passport?!

I know there's not much any of you guys can do for me, but I thought I'd let off steam a bit.

I am being sponsored by my long term partner outland at the London UK visa office. He is a permanent resident of Canada.
My question is this. When (If!) I am asked for my passport, if I take it directly to the visa office myself, will the visa be issued immediately, i.e. same day? I know that if its sent by post it can take about 2 weeks or more before I get it back.
Also, if I get asked for an interview but get approved after the interview, will my visa be issued right away?
Its such a stressful time as everyone going through this knows, all the waiting and not knowing. I just want the process to be as fast as possible!

I am also being sponsored by my husband who is Canadian. London got my complete package in march 2011 and they are looking at my file now. I wonder how long its gonna take. Did you get any answer yet? Its so frustrating and I miss to be with my husband.

I really need your help.. Well i applied my case back in 2009 from Sweden to CHC London since i am studying here as a student. Last year in dec 2010 I received my Medicals request and RPRF which i submitted in the same month. However now when i was expecting PPR.Upon contacting CHC London through mail I was told that an interview will be required. Now my question is why would they ask for an interview after medicals,PPR and everything!?Is it normal or is it only me?Most of the cases I have gone through now on this website suggests that interview request after medicals are rare?However I am confused since I don't know what might have flagged this interview!I already have ordered My CAIPS. Can u guys suggest what might have caused an interview request at this stage..Has anyone else experienced the same situation of receiving an interview request after medicals.. If Yes kindly let me know about your experiences and what were the primary questions in such interview...

Since June the Medical Officer moved from Vienna to London CHC, how it will take to get processed by them?
From where I get hopefully my PPR? London or Berlin?

Guys my application process started on 25th Aug 2009 by London office for FEDERAL INVESTER CATEGORY,as i am a resident in Kuwait,so London office had to process my application i received AOR by march 2010 and doc's request in May 2010 and in July they asked me for some more doc's after that now its been more than a year (NO CONTACT OR REQUEST) ................ ;-)
So those whose applications are being dealt by LONDON office (HAVE PATEINCE AS IT IS GOING TO TAKE TIME)
