hi all

i applied as FSW on late september in the london visa office

till now they have not given me a confirmation that they recieved my application.................is this normal?Huh??

also recently there is a company in canada that is willing to give me a job offer

is it possible to "change/update" my application?

if so............will it slow down the application process?

Hi Transformer

They have not lost your application, many applicants who applied in September have not received any response yet and i am one of them, last applicant who received his 2nd AOR send his application on 10th Sep, mine was reached on 15th Sep but no response, so you are not alone, i would say wait for your 2nd AOR once you get the file number send your job offer it wont slow your process but might speed up things for you.

Cheers

Cause all applications under FSW are to be sent to CIO and then after evaluating it, it is transfered to Visa Office/

my friend initial applications always need to send to cio,ns,canada not to visa office (chc london) directly.
they will return your application . they may charge or not the fees. if they charge you the fees they will refund. i think you didnot look at the website properly.

i know two more cases like you whose application were returned when they sent directly to visa office in error. after they return your application you can reapply again. but make sure your noc falls under 29 needed occupations and your job duties match with those under hrsdc website.

thanks
