Hi

They have replied the same to many other who are waiting for passport request and the reason for this is that they have reached the quota of the year and have stopped issuing visas for this year, they will start requesting the passport next yr in jan 2011.

Cheers

@  rag61180, ya they've been sending the same standard reply to everyone. They have actually no quotas left for this year. They will start issuing PPRs from late Dec/Early Jan.

@  Hamayun, mate although you've been transferred to London but i believe it'll still take the same timeline as Islamabad would have. London is no better than CHC Isb, i know when they took over CHC Isb, lot of us though that they'll be processing us quickly but that's wrong, timelines will remain same.

I applied to CHC London in 2007, when there averge timeline was 42 month, still waiting for fianl phase.

I am one of the 2007 applicants amd I received PPR on the 24th of Nov.. I'm not sure about this quota issue..I filed at London CHC.. While I was there, some other people also came to drop Passports.. So I think it all depends on what is happening with your individual case...

@ Inimi, thanks for your prompt reply. I think the reason why you got PPR is that the original medicals was in March. There are a lot of people waiting for PPR and what you have shared is good news for everyone which i think implies that they appeared to have woken up.
Congratulations.
