You are welcome Soby!

I used the same as SATDXB refers...costs are the same as well and getting appointments and service was comfortable.

Just a point on family doing it from a DMP in India...I had the same situation - my baby was about 15 months at the time and had just proceeded to India with my wife. I was advised that although there is no such rule but if practically possible all family members should get the meds done from the same place. That way the pack reaching the London Meds would be a single one. May reduce any potential delays. But not sure how your circumstances are - if opportunity permits you may want to consider going to india over a weekend and provided you have worked out the appointments etc in advance - it should all be done in a days' time and you can be back on the next working day. No leave required. Again - if your circumstances permit.

Seniors may correct or comment.
Cheers
Nav
Thanks Hinavin,
I too will be doing my medical in Dubai, but my family will get it done from India.
Whom did you go in Dubai? Wat was the cost?

Thanks Satadxb,
I was planing for the same clinic, but i was not aware about the cost. Thanks.
 @ Hianvin
I think you have a valid point. the meds at different places can cause delay but before taking a decision to fly down to India i would seek more expert opinions as how significant the chances of delay...

You have to call them and ask for the tracking number of the courier company where they sent your medicals. In my DMP they also charged us for the courier fee. The receipt from your DMP, and the tracking number of the courier company are your proofs that you have done your medicals. In my case I paid SR 400 for the courier fee(FEDEX), and SR 580 for the medicals. I'm in Saudi Arabia.

Thanks for the info.
well... How do you know they send the medical in following day? Did they give you any tracking reference?
How do they send the medical? Normal Post or courier?
Do we get any proof from the DMP for future reference, that we have done the medical?
Do we have to pay for the courier charge separately?

Thanks in advance for bearing with my Qs...

I discourage you to make your medicals in India and fly back to Dubai after your medicals. The rule of thumb is to do your medicals in your country of residence where you will be staying until you will receive your PPR. Why? Because if London will ask you to do some medical re test, you have to go back to the same DMP where you have initially done your medicals. You cannot go to other DMP. I have a friend who did his medicals here in Saudi Arabia while his family did the medicals in the Philippines. There was no delay.

Hi, the best i have heard in Dubai is London Clinic in Jumeirah.
The cost will come around 800 including courier charges. And within few days they will give you the tracking number.

Cheers...

Hi SATDXB,

I know you might have answered this before, but may I ask about your overall experience with Dubai London Clinic?

1- how long the test took? Can it all be done in one single visit?
2- have they done physical test? Do they strip people out of cloths? And including children?

Hope to learn from your experience

Thanks

I have sad news

one of our friends in Canada immigration , his named is "Tarek Abdel latif" he is Egyptian

Have disappeared in recent events in Egypt's Revolution
We knew yesterday that he was killed in the demonstrations on January 28, 2011

I am deeply saddened to know this tragedy and other natural disasters that has plagued the world, recently. May God, the Almighty grant peace to the soul of the departed during the last many days, does'nt matter if it is either becoz of revolution or the Japanese earthquake/tsunami/nuclear radiation etc. It was all human lives that were lost and human blood that was shed.......! My heart goes out to the victims and their families. Have run out of tears! Oh God, have mercy! May peace and happiness prevail, always! Ommm! Amen!

Hi Mezo,

Personally i had not done my medicals from Dubai London clinic cuz the appointment date was after 20 days. But this clinic is recommended by many members (including our Captain).

All the test were over in one single visit in the clinic i visited. Yes for X-ray, one has to take out his shirt.

Below were the test taken by the clinic:

URINE
X RAY
EYE SIGHT
BLOOD
WEIGHT & HEIGHT
Blood pressure

And few questions of medical illness history was asked by the doctor.

Cheers..

Anwar,
We are in the same boat and your medical is almost same day like me.

We hope this month will be our PPR month.
