Today exactly 5 months 2 weeks, and 6 days. I received my Passport back with Visa on it! Yahoo! an early Christmas gift for me! Thank you all for the support! and wish all the others to hear good news on your case soon!...

Congratulations Reynold! Yesterday, i received a call from my consultant informing me that a MR & RPRF was requested by London VO it was dated 31 Aug came by a reg.post, I will collect that tom. Can you tell me how much does the medical cost? your from Abu Dhabi right? how about a child, my son is 10 yrs old, pls. advice how much. tnx in advance. |

Hi Androse, its good that you have taken that decision, and any how it wont effect the progress of your application. So no harm in sending them an email. Got a little question for you if you don't mind. I did write to the VO asking about the status of my application but have not got any reply from them. I am wondering if they got my email in the first place. Do we get any acknowledgement when Case Specific emails are sent? I did not receive any.

Hi Androse, i myself had an experience of sending three mails to the VO, in which i just received the acknowledgement for one mail. But other two mails were also received by them. Because they replied me at a later stage. Cheers.. |

Yes it is, but sometimes you not receive it. Not receiving an automated acknowledgement doesnt means that the VO has not received your query. As i said earlier, from my three queries sent, i only received acknowledgement for one. Hope this answers your query. Cheers.. |

Hi Seniors  This is what I got from VO " Background checks are outstanding and may take some time to complete.", Their previous reply was "is awaiting a background review by an immigration officer". What does that mean, how long is the "some time"? Thanks Exact time cannot be opined. It may take anywhere between 3 8 months. Cheers!!! |
