Is it necessary that wages needs to be shown on "per hour basis"? My employer showed a lump sum amount of 45k per year on the job offer. Any complications?
Thanks
Well, on the website(workingcanada(DOT)gc(DOT)ca), the average wage of each job category is listed on hourly basis. So, I am assuming they judge the salary on hourly basis. Alternatively, I am missing the average wage of my job category by $230 per year!!

Hey! SC just called my lawyer saying they were reviewing my application, everything seems to be in order and that they will now be issuing a positive LMO!! Delighted with the news as I was expecting a longer wait. I think it helped that my lawyer called them a number of times. I sent the application by mail on Jan 10th I got my processing number around Feb 17th My employer wasn't called to ask him any questions at any point Today, SC called my lawyer with the above news!

An update on my case: Work permit expired oon Jan 8. Application submitted on Jan 6 LMO submitted on Jan 6 in Ontario Work permit refused on March 7, since LMO was not received on time. Now waiting for LMO to restore status. just waiting... Dear Carolk, It is very important to apply for restoration within your 90 days after your work permit expiry date. I think you can apply for restoration even you don't receive your positive LMO on that time. Call CIC and ask them. I hope to get LMO before April 8th

Mine was also a lump sum amount per annum. So I guess it's not necessary to show the hourly rate. However, they will compute this and if it falls below that then they will question your employer.
