LMO Denied

Hi,

After 10 long weeks of waiting to hear about my LMO application, I finally recieved bad news that it was denied. It was denied due to the initial job advertisement did not have a salary for the job role along with a technical issue that I dont know.
Is it common for an LMO application to be denied at the first attempt as it requires tweeking?
The company who wish to hire me have said they are going to re-apply for the LMO but it also means another 10 weeks of aganising waiting!
Any comments would be greatly appreciated

Unfortunately yes.  Many employers are not aware of just how picky Service Canada is when it comes to LMO applications.  Employers MUST follow the instructions to the letter or risk refusal.

sir if the LMO is approved in canada,they will send a copy to the foreign worker to apply for work permit,right?they need the original LMO or scanned LMO and contract only?your reply is very helpful...ty

im still waiting for my LMO,im here in jeddah but i need some information if original LMO and Contract is needed to file a working permit?..what does requirements i need to submit if my LMO is ok?please your response is helpful...thank you...

A scanned or faxed copy is fine.  CIC has access to Service Canada's database of approved LMOs so they can check to see if it is authentic by using the confirmation number on the LMO.  Also, a copy of the contract is fine as well.

The LMO is sent to your employer and the employer sends you a copy.

Look at the requirements that the CHC/Visa office of your region are asking for. Basically, the LMO and the contract, and proof that you can do the job are needed.
