LMO and WP Concurrent processing

Hi,

In case of concurrent processing of LMO and WP, how does CIC come to know of the LMO result. Will HSRDC inform CIC or will HSRDC first send it to the employer and then the employer will inform CIC.

After how much time of the LMO result, will CIC know of it.

The HRSDC will send it to your employer and you will be the one to send it to CIC. If you send your application without the LMO but with proof that its on process...the CIC will wait for the LMO.

In no case does the HSRDC directly informs CIC of the LMO result?

Once you boss gets LMO approved for you, you need to call CIC Hotline and provide them the Ref# (starts with 7). They'll add it to the system and CIC might contact you later if they need something else... otherwise you'll be good to wait the more till Decision comes in.

CIC also has access to Service Canada's LMO file system and can look up the result themselves if they have the file number.
