Hi charmaine,

Congratulations!! were you on PGWP? did your employer show any recruitment efforts or not? Also, did the employer have to call SC to get the confirmation, or did they fax it themselves?

Thanks!

Hello! Just wanna ask what PGWP means? lol... i know WP is for work permit...Smiley Yes he showed recruitment efforts, well actually, I was the one who did it myself, he is busy businessman so I did all the paperwork and he just signed it! I posted it on kijiji, jobbank.ca and jobmire.

I faxed it myself as well. then on Dec. 28 got the confirmation. My employer did not phone SC but SC phoned him to confirm the job offer and that's it! LMo received Jan. 6.

Hi Charmaine,

PGWP= Post Graduate Work permit Smiley I just wanted to check if your employer showed recruitment efforts or not, as under the PGWP program we are supposed to be exempt from showing these efforts....

Hi Revival
I am happy to hear you got positive LMO... that it tells me that mine should be almost ready also, because the timeline is very close to yours, nevertheless, I feel some weird my boss hasn't received any news or some contact from sc, just a little question, did your employer got some interview regarding your case, before they send the desicion?
