Hi there,

I'm married to a Canadian citizen and we're currently working on my application.

I'm a bit confused as to the answer of question no.27 on the sponsored spouse questionnaire.  It asks if you have lived together with your sponsor before.  Does that include visits?  I wrote 'yes' because we have lived together for 3-4 weeks at a time during our visits, but now I'm wondering if it's the wrong answer.

Can somebody please clarify this for me?
Thanks

Yes, you can include visits as long you were living at the same residence. Just include all the dates and explain that you were visiting.

Follow up question...would these visits count as 'living' at her residence for the Address History on the Schedule A Background / Declaration?

I think it's sort of a grey area, but if it was for more than a few days, I would include it. Other people may have other opinions, but I don't think one is wrong and the other is right. As long as your information is consistent and correct, that is what matters. There is a little bit of leeway in interpreting certain questions.
