Living away from my parents on a working visa

I am having a few issues with the ins and outs of my parents work visa, and as they are not prepared to give me much info, I figured I'd search the interwebs for some answers.


Basically, I understand under the terms of their work visa, as a dependent of them, I would have to live with them in order to be supported by them etc. What I want to find out, is if I can live with a friend IF my parents fund them, and essentially support me, indirectly. Is this at al possible, or anything similar?

Anybody that can help me, I would appreciate this immensely!!!
