Hello friends,
Our other topic is getting long and hard to find information. Would it be okay for us to start posting in a new topic?
It's exciting to see some caregivers receiving their OP and PR. But let's keep the married ones in mind, immigration should be processing their papers as well.
As of today CIC says they are processing applications received up to: April 3rd, 2010.
(But we've seen that Sarah Cunanan was approved, and they received her papers on July 7th)

Today I checked on ecas. I got a good new.
We received your application for permanent residence on July 8, 2010.
We started processing your application on September 15, 2010.
Medical results have been received.
A decision has been made and you will be contacted.
We sent you a letter on October 5, 2011 to xxxxxxxxx about the decision on your application. Please consider delays in mail delivery before contacting us. If we have sent the letter to the wrong address, please contact us.
I'm waiting for a letter. How long take time ? I hope I will get the letter in this week. Hope the letter will come soon.

Today I got 2 letters from Cic One is my open work permit. And another one is a letter. In the letter said " We are pleased to advise you that processing of your application has been completed. The Canada Immigration Centre in Etobicoke will contact you concerning your pernament resident status"
It's mean I have to wait another letter or another call for concerning my pernament resident status. How long I have to wait?

Cic received my application may 10, went to mp twice... The last time cic told mp they are going to send it to me in 3-4 weeks... Still haven't received it...it's driving me crazy already...  |

Based on my friends' cases, they will call you for your landing interview. Some are informed thru letters but the trend these days is CIC local offices call most applicants for their interview. Let's keep our fingers crossed. |
