Hello Everyone,

My name is Rafael.

I studied in a college in canada. Then, got my 1 year of work permit.
My gf is working as a live-in caregiver for less then 2 months for a canadian family.
We want to live together, she is in another province.
We thought that the best way will be to get married.
Can we do that ? Can she change her status ? Can she get married with me and apply to get open work permit and change her status. ?
We afraid that maybe immigration office can be suspicious since she has been in canada just for couple of months and wants to get married. They may deport her back !!!.
Depending on the answers I may have more questions
Thank you all !!!
