I feel so nervous. I just sent my PR application. just 2 hours ago. I was thinking so much. did i forgot anything... I checked many times. When will I get the OWP? It's never been easy to work as a Live-in Caregiver . Hope everything will be fine. A question: Anybody sent the application in 2009 or 2010 could share the timeline? How long does it take for the total 2 stages? CIC's timeline is 11 months + 15 months= 26months? over 2 years...  too long... |

You are welcome to join the waiting game, I must tell you,it is nerves wrecking but you will survive . . . .lol.
Yea, if you are a single applicant it will be faster after the AIP , CIC agent told me that but it depends on your country of origin too cos of background check and what not.

Mar 1, 2011 started processing my case
Dec 19,2011 received OWP.

Thanks everyone here. start waiting...Hope it won't take too long...  My current WP and Health Card(OHIP) will be expired in July 2011. and I sent my OWP application, I might get it in next Feb. So how can I renew my OHIP card after July 2011? Anybody has the same problem? Thank you. |

Hi, I have the same situation with you, I waited tell I got my OWP for they will ask you at OHIP center to show your status in Canada which they base in your permit, mine was expired 3mos b4 I got my OWP, good thing just 3mos it was expired b4 I renewed or else I have to start back to 0 and wait for 3mos to use it. It was stressful but take it easy there is nothing we could do about it but wait. My OWP came after 11mos.

Ooooo... Spent the whole hour to call the CIC Call Centre. Finally got an angent to answer. They said I should send a renewal WP application. While I get a new WP, I could renew my OHIP. Another 150 bucks is gone. |

I checked my E-case... It is in process.
Only 1 month after I sent my PR & OWP application.
Hope they are really working on our application.
anyone sent application in 2011, check the E-case...
