My friend who helped me with all my paperworks filed her PR and OWP on April 2010. She got her OWP last Feb., interviewed in March and got her PR card this month. It took her 10 months to get her OWP and 13 months to finally get her PR card.
Well... I'm happy that your friend got her OWP, lucky her. Do you know when in April she applied? I hope that I'd get mine soon. It will be 14 month on June 9th for me. I just pray that they don't extend the processing time again. |

Hi, hardworkerAngel. I feel same as u. I am working over-time,but they pay me loweeeeer than minimum wage. And just two month ago, while i asked them for the document for my PR application. they wanna pay less for me. I pray they treat me well and the processing time will be moving. |

I can't recall the exact date but it was on the first week of April 2010. You might wanna phone CIC to follow up your application. I hope you'll get yours pretty soon. |

Hi sweetchad just got off the phone with CIC. I was so hopeful after hearing that somebody's friend who applied beginning of April got her OWP but CIC just ruined my day. I was told they are only on March 21, they haven't even started Apil yet. It will be another month/month and a half of waiting for me!!!! They just keep feeding us with tomorrows!!!! I said that some people applied at the end of March and beginning of April and they got their OWP already. I asked if he could look into my application to check on status. But that did not happen! ;((( I just don't get what is going on! I can't take it anymore. I've lived with my employer for over 3 years now. I gotta get out. More waitng.... |
