Hi guys ...just wanna ask how to check my application status @ ecas? I sent my OWP/PR application last January 3,2012.... any idea??? i haven't heard any updates from CIC. thanks much BTW, congratulations to those who already received their OWP  gudluck and Godbless .... jus go to cic website: www.cic.gc.ca and on ur rite hand side it has check application status, you click on tht n then u need to put in some information n u will c ur status |

IT IS MEANS GOOD NEWS!!!!
7-8 months
(working on applications received up to June 26, 2010)
(because it was 18-19 month for AIP - first step approval, and another 17 month - for PR)
And now - Cheeeeers, much shorter!!!

I think it is a mistake (7-8mths) it should be 17-18mths note that they are working on applications received up to June 26 2010

I feel bad for these 2010 applicants who needed to wait 18 months for only OWP,however ,that is not a reasonable time period for an OWP.if that happen,these lice in caregive should be told that they need finished 42 months then they r ok to apply their OWP.

last feb 1, 2011...it say's 18-19 months. That was first came to my mind too that it was a mistake. I hope not |
