I also got the same letter as what Lholie received but when I called CIC, they said within 3months they will contact my family for MEDICAL. Let's hope & pray for the Best  God is great & merciful!!! hi syd, so the CIC actually said that within 3 months they would contact your family for medical?that is awesome, again let's continue hoping that CIC will speed up those applications who have waited for more than 18 months of their OWP... |

Hello, guys. I just received my owp today and they give me 4yrs work time, but I didn't receive any letter about the interview about PR. Does it mean I still have to wait another 17-18months to get the PR?
CIC received my files: 02 June 2010
start processing: 16 August 2010
owp received : 12 December 2011
Congrats jean! Just want to ask something, did you apply for work permit or student visa?  |

Still in process. No good news for me Today but I am hopeful for tomorrow and the other days coming.... I'm trying to be positive and hopeful everyday. Since nothing will happen if I whine and be a hater Everytime I read someone gets their OWP I am more hopeful even when they are 2011 applicants Congrats to all to who got their OWP's!!! Any april or may applicant who got 1st stage approval wih dependants who got lc2 kit did you got the same letter as ours who have dependants with no lc2 kit yet? Paging sweetchad,sydneywhite,lholie lucy fun,kathy he,kishia thanks for helping

. I think they are dooing their best to process ur files in a timely manner but could not do anything to expedite the process in manila..this s the reason why single applicants r faster than married applicants.you cant just stand in front of a washer and do nothing while you are waiting for your clothes in the dryer after washing it..only this pilot project OWP they had a fault..overlooking,they shud hav issued the OWPs according to the top on the list of the waiting game.anyways,,their aim is to issue all applicants OWPs..They dont want LiCs being too noisy..lolz.. |

hello guys, i called 1-888-242-2100 and it doesn't say anything news for my application, but then i decided to call the agent and told me that I have my Open work permit mailed on Dec. 10.....I am so happy to hear a good news this early morning:)
