hello shelleon i live in calgary just around 5-6 hour-drive to vegreville..maybe thats y..all my friends who were approve got theirs too already..dont worry thou,,im sure yours is better..you are going to get 2 special mails from cic..gudluck!!!
Yeah they said they sent me 2 letters one is owp and the other is a first stage approval letter,did you get both mails?maybe its coming soon for you,did you say in your owp remarks it said pending lic application?is that for every owp issued coz we know after owp you are not done pr yet |

yeah thats my remark i have just submitted my pr applctn last august..so its really not likely to get approval.. |

I think you've been approved 1st stage. Has your Ecas status been updated to "decision made"? |

To those trying to renew Drivers licence in Edmonton and being on implied status. My husband managed to renew it in AMA. He provided his Client ID number, they opened his ecas (with his permission) and printed it out. It showed that he ligally stayed in Canada, was on implied status and apllied for PR in 2010 and his papers are in process.Though membershop in AMA cost us 80$ but they're really willing to help there and did their best. All the other registries didn't even want to understand the situation.

Hello Forumers,
my neighbour a June 2011 applicant got a big surprised in her life when she received today her owp with remarks "pending pr application" valid til Feb.14, 2015 is this how fast now the processing of owp at cic vegrivelle? only 6months? anyway am happy for her but i do hope when its my time to submit my owp and pr next year i will still have the same processing opportunity time now.

Yes, my ecase says decision made and i received confirmation letter as well... Hopefully this new pilot thing that cic did won't make us suffer and wait longer. I am already skeptical to all their tactics... In the surface it looks good but there are a lot of hidden agenda behind it...

I see  Have you tried using all the web browsers available? Or have you already verified with CIC that there's something wrong on their end? Anyways, you got your OWP, that's what really matters for now. Cheers!  |
