Through mail ..if you are working for a new employer and are about to renew your owp send your application to NEW EMPLOYER CIC UNIT ADDRESS

New Employer is much way faster that renewing it with Same Employer..mine it takes 52 days to received my new  owp

what do u mean new and ssame??did u mean ur current emplyer or ur employer as LIC???and u changed??pls clarify to me if it doesnt bother you..

its your current employer,please refer to check processing time at cic.gc.ca and click above work permit you may see 2 types of working permit processing time NEW and SAME if you are still working presently wth your lic employer weather you got your owp it is still considered SAME EMPLOYER but if you are working now outside ur lic employer then its considered NEW EMPLOYER and its way faster to process compare with same employer.

GOD IS GOOD TODAY I RECEIVED MY NEW OPEN WORK PERMIT AND THIS TIME ITS VALID BASED ON THE EXPIRY DATE OF MY PASSPORT I GOT 3 MORE YEARS OF EXTENSION IN MY OWP I DO HOPE AND PRAY THAT IT WOULD NOT REACHED 3MORE YEARS THAT I CAN HUG AND KISS MY FAMILY PERMANENTLY.BY THE WAY IT TOOK 52 DAYS FOR CIC TO PROCESS MY OWP.

Yes, I know we have a happy holiday this year, especially us.. who got our OWP this yuletide season!
Actually, I know that my application is hard to decide for CIC VO, as we are couple, even we are here, and when we submitted our application to CIC last May 2010, my wife not yet finished her program, she just complete it by November 2010, and I think that it is the barrier that gave our application a problem!

But one thing I'm so happy was when the CIC start to move again their processing of April 2010 applicant, And especially last week that they processed May 22, 2010 applicant already, ..that is why I post here in the furom last time that the CIC can't hold my application for another year,  ! Because I can complain if ever their process date passed the date when they recieved our application!

My eCAS still same, in process! But that is okey as we already verified this morning to CIC about the decision they made to our application, and she told us that they sent it yesterday, maybe after they recieved a copy of my passport thru fax!

Anyway, two birds got in one shot if we compare to our application!  

Hope we got our PR so soon too!

BTW, I'm from St. Lucia, one of the country in the Carribean!

Good news guys i did phoned again the cic
i phoned yesterday is on process but i disphoned it again this morning today
is approved and issued yesterday my wop hahaha im very happy
finally and hopefully PR arrived nextyr January2012. i am May 2011 applicants. yahoooo

call CIC n spoke with an agent, said my permit was mailed on the 2011-12-04 and it would expired  in october of 2012 cuz thts when my passport would expires

did u try to to talk to an agent???u shud ask wen is the expiry of your NEW OWP..jus to confirm.. agents say its on d mail yesterday and it will take 10 business days..I dont think they wud lie about it..if they do,,then they are giving misleading informations.. they are currently facing a big lawsuit from FSW,,why wud they want another 1???
