boyzone2 may i know how u applied for renewal of owp? how did u fill up the form? the way u filled it up when u first applied for owp with pr?
on the "my request" part of the application form how did u answer it? thanks!

That is good boyzone2 can i just ask if you pay again to renew your owp or cic just issue you a new one coz you got a new passport?my old passport will expired dec 12,2012 is it advisable to renew it?
Thank you parekoi! yes u need to pay $150 for renewal.did you received your owp already? see it 1st when your owp arrived if it base on your passport validity and if you only have 1year expiry in your initial owp, renew before it will expire but hopefully it will not come to that matter before you will be approved for PR.Goodluck! |

when i applied for owp i actually wrote OPEN WORK PERMIT on the space. i dont know if i should do the same when renewing the owp.

Write the validity of your passport ...(expiry date of your passport) better renew your passport if its near its expiry date, I DID CHECK IT REASON PR ON PROCESS |

so happy about the news.i want to address this quetion to those who received their owp as fast as a bullet how did u send your application,,, mail or online thank you Through mail ..if you are working for a new employer and are about to renew your owp send your application to NEW EMPLOYER CIC UNIT ADDRESS CASE PROCESSING CENTER 6212-55H AVE.UNIT 555 VEGERIVELLE,AB T9C 1X6 New Employer is much way faster that renewing it with Same Employer..mine it takes 52 days to received my new owp |
