hi every1 i just want to ask....i just got so shock..im an august 2011 applicant..i tried calling cic too...i wasnt just so sure... i tried 127...and it said..
we rcv ur application aug 2011
your work permit has been approved dec. 3rd, 2011.. but thats it... it doesnt say we have sent you documents or whatever.... is this real...if so how do you think we could get a copy..i dont have a job ryt and i really badly need 1....

My OWP was approved on December 03!!!
Thanks for all support and I believe that all effort is being compensate!
But I won't stop to fight!!! I hope you guys won't stop too! That what happened with us never ever happen again under the live in caregiver program.
congratz to you.... maybe they heard about the petition...they r facing a big lawsuit ryt now from FSW workers and they dont want another 1.. |

Really your friend is very lucky only one month process and got owp ,mine still waiting i'm single
applicant i send May 2011 and process June 21, 2011 i check on ecad in process status. is that your friend got the lettet or aphone cll recieved.?
No, I didn't mean my friend got owp just one month after submitted application but I meant if you were single you will recived a mail for PR interview few weeks after your owp issued . |

I'm kinda skeptical about it. I phoned 127 too but it says the details of my previous Work Permit application that has been approved and issued last October 14, 2011.
Now I asked my friend who just applied last month November 2, 2011 CIC received her PR/OWP application and the voice message 18882422100 127 says that her Work Permit application has been approved last December 3, 2011. I hope this is not system error. I'm happy and gives me hope if this is true.
Now, my friend phoned me again that the agent told her they already mailed in the letter today.

Hey guys just got curious and I tried calling the immigration hotline to see what would they say to my application and voila it says my work permit has been approved on Dec. 3 (Praise God!). I sent my application last April 2011 and I'm a single mom with 1 dependent included in my application.

i hope its the kind of OWP that they usually issue,...we are not sure yet.. maybe its a kind of open permit that we can choose to live in or live out...  |

OHHH WOW !! what's a big surprise. I'm feel happy for her. My case I called 127 the automatic said wp is issued but I kinda confuse and don't realize it untill I can contact the agent and have owp in my hand. |

Oh my.. There is alot of Good News now! Even Applicant applied for OWP after a month (November 2011) were approved by CIC! That is a VERY VERY GOOD NEWS TO ALL OF US, APPLICANTS! In my presumption, CIC felt alot of noise that the applicants did, so they changed their system now! After an applicant finished her/his 24 months/3900 hrs (what ever come first), they should apply their OWP and PR. And when the CIC recieved their application, OWP were be given right away! Because that was the law says! But the BAD thing is they only did it now, after alot of months the other applicants, including me, wasted already our time in their waiting game! But in PR application.. I don't know if there is a law that gave a time frame on this matter! But I'm still HOPING CIC will not freeze our PERMANENT RESIDENCE application, ..AGAIN! |

Just want to share this I got a phone call from MP office few minutes ago and the secretary whom i spoke to told me that she got back the reply today from CIC regarding my IMM status and it says my OWP and my kids study permits are on the mail. CIC sent it to me yesterday. Thanks god.  |
