Hi did you ask if when are you going to receive your owp? I try to call cic it busy. Maybe they will finilized all 2010 applicants before the yr ends.

Oh, thanks. So now CIC does not know how long they're going to finish the 2nd stage processing hence the length of the new OWPs being granted lately. my passport expiry date is may 2014 i renewed it before i sent my owp/pr application last feb.2010, it is not true that owp permit validity is based on passport date expiry.i was been told before that it depends on the processing time of 1st stage and final stage approval, which last 2010 processing time was only 6-9 months and a lot of owp holders of 2009 and 2010 applicants have also 1 year expiry date.

Hi boyzone can you pls do me a favor again? can you pls ask the visa officer again if she has any idea how long will the lc2 kit is gonna be send to the dependants once the file has been transfer to canadian embassy,the cix agent told me that there is a memo on my file that i have 2 dependants and they inform the canadian visa office that they sent their file already thanks buddy really appreciate it

Since there has been a new change to the LCP PR applicants, the whole processing time has begin slow. Since the new applicants from April won't be under going second medical, I thought the processing would be faster but unfortunately it has become slower . Processing time today 16 Aug 10 has move from 7-8 mths to 8-9 mths !!!! It took me 3mths plus to be able to log in into ecas  .Anyways let come together and share our timelines. Application sent 26 April 2010
Application reecived 29 April 2010
CIC started processing 13 July 2010Hello guys i am 2011 applicant i send my OWP and PR application May 30, 2011 recieved June 01, 2011 and process June 21, 2011 single from Vancouver BC hopefully PR granted next year. thank you good luck to everyone Brennin |
