that doesn't sound so good..hey, maybe you'll be granted with an emergency landing...a friend of mine was like that, she was called by the immigration that she is given an emergency landing or else her dependent's security check will expire..and yes, she got her family on time...don't worry boyzone i'm sure you'll be reunited with your family by the year 2012..

Why is your OWP vaild only for a year? Is/was your passport expiring when you were granted the OWP? No update yet with my Lc2 i hope and pray Canadian Embassy in Manila will send them medical and passport request before the end of this year. my OWP will expired on Jan.28,2012 another $$$  |

Why is your OWP vaild only for a year? Is/was your passport expiring when you were granted the OWP?
my passport expiry date is may 2014 i renewed it before i sent my owp/pr application last feb.2010, it is not true that owp permit validity is based on passport date expiry.i was been told before that it depends on the processing time of 1st stage and final stage approval, which last 2010 processing time was only 6-9 months and a lot of owp holders of 2009 and 2010 applicants have also 1 year expiry date. |

Guys i called the automated phone service and it says my work permit application is been approved dec 3... is this really true? but the ecas says it is still in process...
