hi i am new here, i want ask a question to Katrin and sydneywhite,or anyone alse can help me: I Already have my OPEN WORK PERMIT & about to apply for TRV (Re-entry VISA) but I don't have job yet (currently unemployed as my employer released me already) and I have IN CANADA application for PRV ,just like sydneywhite.could you tell me how to apply re-entry visa with my open work permit, and sydneywhite,did you success to apply re-entry visa, what did you do, please tell me the detial,thank you evey much!

hi berry1 did you try to call the cic hotline with the option 1 2 7
Hi! I just tried now... It says " your application was received on may 10, 2010. Your application for working permit has been approved. A medical result has been received and your documents were sent on nov. 25, 2011." So cheet ip! If you heard something like that when you called cic, that means wait for 5 business days and it's a "merry xmas for you!" Congrats! |

but my e-cas doesnt change still in process.. i also have a missed call earlier i was out so my aunt got it.. agent said my passport was expired... but didnt say anything about opw,, then i saw this thread and try that 127 thing and that was i heard from the voice record it was approved today dec 4... is it possible..

I ALSO CALLED JUST NOW -THIS IS WHAT THE RECORDING SAID: "Your application was received on June 24, 2010. Your application for work permit has been approved and the document has been issued on Dec 4, 2011" I'M SO EXCITED!!! My ecas hasn't been updated yet...   |

@ deira.. CONGRATULATIONS if you were approved as what you heard on the hotline of CIC!  Do you have your new passport? If the CIC have the copy of your passport but expired now, so you need to send them a new copy of your passport. It is possible also to send them thru fax. |

@ deira.. thats okey if you sent one already last April, you don't have proof that they recieved it. So it is hard to argue with them if they want you to send another copy for them. You can call tomorrow and tell them that if they can call you when they recieve a copy after you faxed to CIC. |
