Live-in Caregiver 17 - 18 months (working on applications received up to May 22, 2010)

@ stress_27 it depends if you manage to complete 24 mos or 3900 hours in 22 mos and the visa officer sees that you completed it but until then you are not safe i heared there is an april applicant here who pass his application then the cic send him a letter that request some documents on him like time sheet and contract stuff like that and they just request that after 18 or 19 mos?i think its marshmallow i wonder how his application is now
Hi, yes that would be my husband's application..... we are still gathering all the requirements specifically our new passport (my son and I LC2)... they also asked for the copy of our new passport coz our old passport will expire next feb 2012.... hopefully everything will be straightened up when we submit all the documents they are asking.... still wondering though why are they asking for the documents for option 2 when my husband opted for option 1... *sigh* ... well there's no need to argue with them... just give them what they are asking... just hoping that after this bump in the road the rest will be as smooth as silk...... and I do suggest that if you have LC2 whose PPT will expire in a year have them renewed...... GOD BLESS US ALL |

I received my pr letter today, the Immigration Center will contact me as stated in my letter. And it says too that my OPW has has been approved letter sent separately. Im just wondering why it didnt came at the same time??? Anyone here had experienced same situation like mine? Also want to ask how many weeks they will contact you by the time the pr letter received?

Katrin- Good remembering :-) I haven't received anything but I had called them and they said that I will hear from them next month (december). I believe that they are holding my work permit in order to send my OWP instead. I wish that at least... Let's see...I hope we receive some news this month... |
