@ wsongco: first, i want to thank you for entertaining my worries it is highly appreciated...
i don't have any proof as to when the cic received my papers but the cic agent said they received it Nov 26, 2010 and my processing fee had been withrawn last January, so far this are the only details they can tell me. i asked when they started to process it and the agent said it's not being processed yet. what do you think???
That sucks sofie sorry for my words but you pass your application november last year and still they dont process it? usually it takes 2 mos before it shows on ecas i heared some 2011 applicants can see their ecas within a month |

When are you gonna pass your application? Are you single or with dependants?
I am single.given cic suggests using the updated application forms,I will try to finish tomorrow and mail it .is there anyone in the same spot with me? |

Try use Internet Explorer or Firefox for your Online Application Status Sometimes other servers doesn't works |

@ The rest May applicants
You can ask CIC call centre agents if your papers have been forwarded to an agent to assess if so, hopefully your OWP might be granted within 2 weeks.

@ Kalinka: according to the cic agent my application is not being processed yet and that's the reason why i cant view it yet on ecas...it's been a year already since i passed it...

@ sofie you have to call again. everytime you call CIC they have different answers. try to use the automated telephone service
Call Centre telephone number: 1-888-242‑2100
Automated telephone service (available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week)
If you have a touch-tone telephone, you can listen to prerecorded information about CIC programs, order application kits, and check the status of your application.

Ahhh the time line went to 18-19 months...Next week will be 20 months because i have been in touch with some caregivers in their 22 months of waiting....
Other thing...How many people here had emailed or called Jason Kenney office? Someone had posted his contact here...I did and who more emailed him?
If you are upset about the waiting time, frustrated for being away from your family from long time, if your marriage is over because of it, no health care or any rights...Please email Jason Kenney!
I emailed him and you should do it too! More people better...Maybe he will at least talk with us...Call and leave a message...mail a letter...Do something about it!

I know that the situation we are all in is tough and everyone has their own stories of frustration, but i admire your sunny and positive personality.i am happy that i received a call from them but i am still nervous because i know my unending saga of waiting is not over yet, however, let us just continue to pray and i Know that He listens, he works in ways we cannot see...
