exactly the same situation...its because of my wedding on december thats the reason why I need to go home.everything is ready and because of this long process now it will be cancel...so frustrating  I just entrust to GOD that HE is always on time and can do possible ways... faithangel _ what is ur timeline? when did you sent your application? |

Hope Mr.Kenney realize that Live-in Caregivers are already Tax Payers, We are at the middle of a trap because they changing they Rules and we LIC are affected without any reason, especially applicants with dependents,..I smell discrimination on this part,..the most emotional/psychologically affected by this Live-in Careiver Program are those people with family/dependents of the most because they are the ones being longing by their KIDS, growing without the guidance of a parent. Hope Mr. Kenney have heart enough to touch the senses of a grieving mother/father to be with their Kids sooner...Because the Longer they are separated the more damage to they family relationship. And this is hard to FIX if they're come a time that their is already a family relationship problem. MR. Kenney's plan is to Cut immigration Applicant's, hope they consider as not an regular applicant because we are already tax payers and completed the given task to us before we apply for PR. We already help and served Canadians by given them CARE for 24 months, In spite of our other qualification as professionals , we serve them with our heart and dedication just to meet the requirements. If they are not happy about changing our job after granted PR, maybe it is not our fault because they accepted us as caregivers with professional degree holder. If they don't want us to work with another job, at the start they have not accepted Professionals/degree holder to be qualified as caregivers in LICP. |

I hope so....I keep on praying for that, just let the WILL OF GOD reign... If they changed the rules on the processing for LCP then the CIC should informed us even just explanation in the website to avoid voices now...it is so disappointed what they did just change without further notice... |

here is another good point by Don Davies tweet to Min. Kenny. Don Davies
"Imm Min. Kenney wants to CAP appl'ns for parents and grandparents (after 5 years of cuts, too!). Cons' "family values": missing in action?!"
It is very far from their vision of "Family Value" which is right happening to the LIC applicants with dependents..they are not processing the LIC applicants with dependent because they cutting immigrants inflow...

DOWN by -90%
So NO PROBLEM with the Computers, NO PROBLEM with the staff in CIC, THEY REALLY REGULATING THE PROCESS OF APPLICANTS..even thou you are already qualified by their requirements we have to wait......imagine if they are 6000 applicant who are pending and they only process 1000 for this year..how long should we wait?

Rememember that Jason Kenney promised faster PR for live in caregivers.......before election

That computer problem is a joke. This long processing time, they just did it on purpose. Today I finished my EI application, dropped ROE to Canada service. I just hope they will approve my EI application. Don't give up, if you are unemployed like me, use these time to learn something, it will be useful after you get the OWP. Make good preparation for our new life.

yes i am single and no dependent...i have no freaking clue why? thats why I ask our MP here to find out why? As a matter of fact they are doing September now.

Reading all the post makes me realize that just like the incompetent gov't we have in the country that i left, canada's deaf to the issues of common people just like us... I am totally losing faith in their system right now, they're just lucky cause their land is wealthy and prosperous that's why we came here... But still, just like reality, the absence of good and equality and fairness also exist here..

Are you guys single or married? I just can't understand why some received their OWP and some not?! This drive me crazy...
There's something wrong there....Maybe a hacker got in their computer and made a messy and now they are trying to fix it..who knows??
