lets keep on praying for all the immigration officers to fast track the processing and for the immigration minister to take actions for the long processing that is implementing right now...have FAITH in the LORD all the time...

I think that its happening something really wrong there...

Maybe someone put all those files in a wrong place, or someone very desorganize was in charge for it... It doesnt make any sense, some singles from july application got thei owp before then some other single from april application... Married nothing at all but he heard some got thei OWP...

I can't understand! Doesn't make any sense...  There's something wrong... Where's the one that know an officer that works in vengreville? Please give to us some light....

Strikenannies,

If you can turnback at page 135 of this thread i have reposted it there my posting which i have originally posted last August informing everybody in this forum about what the immigration officer from vegreville told me about the processing time and some other issues. or i just repost it here again so just everybodycan read it again. i don't think cic call center knows exactly whats going on inside the case processing center in vegriville,ab. it is clearly stated when you call the call center agent that they 'HAVE NO ACCESS" or can "SPEED UP" the application processing time. they can only check your status based on what the cpc vegeriville sent it to them.

How about CIC Scarborough? Anybody had her/his landing interview there? Can you share how long did you have to wait for your interview. Truly appreciate your info. Thanks.

hi to all fellow foriegn workers yesterday i have the chance again talked to my employer's sister who's working at cic vegeriville, alberta.
she told me that live in caregiver applicants that applied for owp/pr starting september/october 2010 and up can expect reduce processing time for 1st stage approval, reduce processing time for pr approval for single applicants,But married applicants and approval of lc2 depends on Canadian Consulate processing time abroad.processing tme being updated quarterly at cic website for 1st stage and 2nd stage are just an estimated time, application are done case to case basis,Mr.Jason Kenny already issued them memo to fast track the processing time of every applicants in every class specially the LIVE IN CAREGIVERS ..i ask her also about the "decision made and you will be contacted" that some of us here have already got from cic ecas, based on her experienced as a visa officer it is that most likely the applicant will be approved for PR and that if the applicant have dependants, all LC2 informations must be received 1st from the Canadian Consulate abroad where the LC2 have applied before a PR approval can be granted to the Principal (LC1) and then to the LC2

THIS IS WHY I BELIEVED THAT WE ARE GETTING SOME GOOD NEWS ABOUT LIC'S RECEIVING THERE OWP THAT STARTED LAST MONTH (SEPTEMBER)

It's a mystery to me why some are luckier to have their open permit issued earlier than others when it is only the first stage of approval...

Application sent: may 7, 2010
Application received: may 10, 2010
Started processing: july 20, 2010
Status: waiting

Note: went to mp 2x, may 2011 and sept. 19, 2011, last response from cic, they're sending it in 3-4 weeks...

@ shelleon: i am single with a 8 year old dependant...
What i don't understand is that the delay for the processing of the ones who had dependants should happen in the 2nd stage of approval not in the first stage for in the 2nd stage, that's where they should be checking on the background of the dependants... Somebody correct me if i am wrong...

Also, the cic responded to my inquiry through MP and twice they said there's no problem with my application... I am already exhausted waiting...
