I just want to get the Implied Status proof but I am not applying for an EI since I am still with my employer.. I just need the proof since I need to renew my Driver's License in January.

March 31, 2010- application for PR/OWP sent
June 15, 2010- started processing
February 22, 2011- OWP received.

September 2010- dependents application received.
November 2010- sent LC2 to MEC.
February2011- LC2 AOR.

Implied status is when you are working and your work permit expires after you have applied for an extension.  You can continue working at that job only, until you receive a reply from Vegreville.  If you leave the country and then return, implied status ends, and you can't work until you receive a reply on the extension.   -from PMM

But you have your OWP, you don't need the proof that you are on implied status. You can renew your licence using your OWP.

You are so lucky that the CIC rcvd your application the next day you sent it. If not.. maybe until now you don't have your OWP. (just my perception if they received your application after the month of March)

U have already your owp.so u don't need any proof of implied status.just show them your owp and you can renew your drivers license.

yup..but my Drivers License will expire on January and my OWP will expires by February 2012..so atlst, I shud have a proof that I am on Implied Status so they can give me a longer validity of my DL..
