Hi! I'm new here in this forum and glad to be part of it.
I still have 1 year to complete to be able to apply for OWP n PR but reading all your stories makes my day goes faster each day! It's so hard for us as a mother to be away from their families back home...I really hope and pray that they will lessen the processing time for LCP. Good luck to all!

Hey Guys,
I have two questions:
#1 How can you check the date when they started processing your application?
#2 Are we going to have a medical exam before/after getting our open permit? Or before we get the PR card?

HI AGIHUN..YOU CAN CHECK THE PROCESSING TIME FOR PR AT CIC WEBSITE AND I BELIEVE CAREGIVERS ARE EXEMPTED FROM MEDICAL TEST SINCE APRIL 2010 BECAUSE OF JUANA TEJADA'S CASE. HOPE THIS HELP!  |

Update for today is processing up to March 21 and processing time is still 10-11 month. Hopefully by next week they will be in April , I can't wait .  |

I CHECKED MY ECAS THIS AFTERNOON AND THANK GOD- DECISION MADE ALREADY. ALTHOUGH THE UPDATE ON WEBSITE IS THAT THEY ARE STILL PROCESSING THE MARCH 21 APPLICANTS.
