Interview........: 19-09-2011

« Reply #2057 on: September 12, 2011, 05:29:43 pm »

Hi guys,
I received the interview letter. It says:
"You have been scheduled to appear for an interview and to receive your Confirmation of Permanent Residence Document on September 19th....." and there is also the payment instructions.
So I guess it means that my PR is approved and it is all over. I just got OWP in July and braced for a long long wait for PR and here it is.
Does anybody know how the interview goes? Is it something to be worried about or is it just a formality?

Thank you for all your input, support and information. This forum's been a huge support for me. And I'm guessing for all of you too. Don't lose hope. You might just get surprised to get something when you least expect it.

@ sweetchad I came here last June 24,2008 and then I submitted my application April 27,2010 still on my employer last September 2 I received letter from them.... yes, 22 months but I still don't have 3,900...my mistakes to passed my application too early that's why the immigration want me to comply to this matter.  But I finished the employment June 24, 2008 till august 19, 2011.
Any suggestion whst am I gonna do?  What other  document should I submit to immigration so that my application would not resfuse?Huh?
Or is my application for permant residence still some hope???
What do you think guys? Thanks for the response.

You could send them the updated tax information for the two months that you are missing so that know know that you finished the 24 months. and send them updated letter from your employer to show how long you working with them, that you are still working and that you did the 24 months. I think they would only refuse the application if you don't send in what they requested. Respond to their request as soon as possible.

I suggest to make  a statement of earnings in a table format.put your number of hours you work every month.as I observe, if you will work in one employer continuously and writing down your hours would make it 3900 hours.you should count every month.dont just depend on 44 hours a week.count it one by one.iba iba kasi ang buwan.minsan 31 days in a month.minsan 28 days in a month.i did it on mine.
